50th Anniversary

One of the blessings of being in the states is being able to participate in family events! My parents, John and Kathryn, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on the 12th of May. This is a photo of Spencer and I with my parents at Brunch on Mother's day, the 13th.

Thank you Angie, for the photo!

  6. That can't be your mother-it must be your sister! I can see where you got such great genes!

I'm sure having you at this celebration was a blessing to your family too!

  7. My mother and I have gotten that response when we go out together. Even when I was a teenager people thought we were sisters. I hope I look as good as her when I am 70!

  8. I cannot believe your mom's age! YIKES! She has found the fountain of youth!

Perhaps that saying, "black don't crack" has some truth to it. One time when someone said I didn't look my age, I told them "yellow don't mellow."

    ;-)

  9. Joann,
I am so glad that you are back! You crack me up.

One of the reasons Tom says he married me is because my grandmother looked so good!

    Smart man!
