everything is bigger in America

Each time we go somewhere to eat we are constantly amazed at the portion sizes of food and drinks.  When did a small drink become so large?!  The culture shock continues...

  1. I remember noticing the same thing when I returned from my years in France. Everything was (is) much bigger here. I especially remember going into a supermarket and seeing the HUGE cereal aisle!
    The restaurants also rush you through your meal here. In Europe, you have your table for the evening!

  2. So true Jeano! Target has lots of toothpaste choices and the tubes were all huge!!!
