I love T.D. Jakes' words pictures... he always gets his point across in a very vivid way for me!  The context of the quote is about learning the balance between selfishness and self denial.  Each day we are faced with choices.  T.D. 's words remind me that learning to set healthy boundaries and avoiding extremes is part of maturing as a woman and as a human being.
