Counting the days until our 30th...

 staying together is progress,

and working together is success."

As our 30th wedding anniversary draws closer we are looking at different ways to commemorate the day.  I even started a board on Pinterest to keep track of some of the craft ideas and places to go that I have found.

And here is my favorite craft idea:

We are thinking of incorporating Wichita,Kansas, Costa Mesa, California, Krasnodar, Russia and Belmopan, Belize into our love map.  I have been looking for different maps online and my favorite for Wichita (which is where we met, married and had our first child) is this one:

Every love story is beautiful...but ours is my favorite!

So, tell me, where have you gone?
And what special craft projects have you done to celebrate a special occasion?

  4. Lovely post... Congrats...

Our 6th and 7th were spent in Guanjuato Mexico...For our 15th anniversary we went to Honduras... and for our 17th I'm hoping will be living in Cairo...

As far as crafts go I love making homemade cards and then cooking a nice dinner together.

  8. Congratulations on 30 years. I really love the map craft, so cute and original!

Card making is as far out as I branch into crafting. I made a card yesterday to celebrate my Turkish sister's 13 year mark as a Christian.

  9. I love that quote - I think I'll borrow it.
    We met in Brooklyn, NY
    Lived in Uniondale, NY
And now live in Woodland Hills, CA.
The islands are very special to us so we've visited Jamaica and Barbados often, since those are a huge part of us. I was born in the Bahamas and our next trip hopefully will be there.

I'm not a crafts person at all though I can be crafty!!!
