Thought for Today

Loose talk has a way of getting picked up and spread around.
Little birds drop the crumbs of your gossip far and wide.
Ecclesiastes 10:20

  4. This verse is a great lesson on restraint. Zipping up those loose lips can prevent a lot of pain. Love the bird photo!

  11. What a wonderful, and convicting verse you've chosen today Alida. I pray we all take this message to heart, and think before we speak.

    Have a Blessed Day!

  12. Lord, Bless Alida and I with the wisdom this verse shares! How precious her photo of the cardinal or redbird so close-up! Thank You Holy Spirit that You can keep our Words to be uplifting and not spread the wrong message about anyone. Thank You Father for the crumbs but may they be ones that nourish and encourage Alida. Guard Alida from all else.
Thank You for her encouraging visit to The Power of Your Love

  13. I really like this quote, it's so true! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm jealous that you are living in a tropical place. If you are down there you should be able to get Mexican chocolate powder for the Texas Sheet cake, it would be oh so good with some of that. I went on a trip to Cancun and brought a little bag home and it was amazing :)

  15. "Even a fool is thought wise if he remains silent." from Proverbs.

Not sure if i quoted that perfectly but the idea is to keep the lips closed.

    Thanks for the reminder.
