This is annoying! The other day we heard little bird feet on our roof. It sounded like a million little feet marching in synchronized motion across the shingles! My husband knocked the side of the house and yes about a thousand flew away. Would hate to see what they left behind on top of the roof!;)
I would be equally annoyed, but your picture makes me think of a day when I won't see snow out my window-bring on spring (and better sleep for you)!
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I would be pretty ticked off if I was woken up earlier than planned by a woodpecker, but I am glad you can laugh about it!
ReplyDeleteThat would be annoying - but you did take one awesome picture!
ReplyDeleteHow can such a sweet little bird be that annoying ;-) But I'm with you ... anything waking me up that early is worth moving neighborhoods over =0)

Oh I remember a woodpecker who woke me up every morning one summer, pecking on a tree right outside my window. You got a great picture!
ReplyDeleteI can't stand having to yell at woodpeckers or knock loudly when they are pecking on my house! lol It always seems to be in the mornings too.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he's annoying, but what a beautiful bird! :)
