I love the photo and this excellent reminder. I've spent a few WEEKS in low gear, a necessity given the heat where I live! It has been good for my soul. God does make the seasons!

Fabulous photo to accompany the verse and a great reminder. Just reading that Olive Tree says she is in low gear because of the heat and I am probably the same due to the wet and cold which I actually love but it does make hiding in bed very easy when you live alone..and can dodge commitments.
Oh...if I could just figure this one out. My husband and I discuss this all the time...especially for his sake- full time job, children's pastor on Sunday, set up and tear down in our church...it's very difficult to accomplish this, but SO necessary. Thanks for the reminder and THANKS for linking up again with The Wednesday Word. We are starting to grow :) I appreciate it.
Where are you in Belize? I have a good friend, Karol Smith, who has lived in Belize for many decades. She and her husband Larry worked with YWAM. Now they own Seafront Inn along the coast in Punta Gorda. Belize is so small I thought you might know them.

Belize is a small country! But we have not been down to Punta Gorda... it is one of the cities we want to visit but it's several hours away and we have not made it down there. So we have not met them yet...but when we finally get down to PG we will have to look them up!
May we always remember to carve out time to replenish our bodies and our spirits.
