With my eyes focused on seeking the JOY that God has for me this year I will climb higher and wait. He is my Teacher and my Guide on this journey and I am willing to do what He asks of me and trust Him through this process.
AMEN! and blessings Alida! Climbing with you, seeking His JOY! Great photo and verse! Going up to the Higher places and willing to WAIT as His JOY flows to us to others! We will trust Him in the climb of the ascent or descent that He goes before us and with us through the process!
Beautiful photo and inspiring words. I know steps like that as I grew up in a little town that had very steep terraine that had been carved by a glacier that lead to a lake. So lovely. Love and Peace
Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture and verse. Thank God that He is our Teacher and Guide, and we can look to Him and rest in Him daily! Thanks for your visit and encouragement! Take care.

To see "the tropics" in your blog made me remember my birthcountry.... For sure i come back to your blog thxs for folowing mine also..
Kim, Good question... for me each circumstance is different. I climb until I reach the point where there is nothing left to do but wait.
When you reach the top of the mountain you can see the situation clearly and then you will know it is time to sit and wait on Him to reveal His plan and His message to you.
This is beautiful, Alida! Amen and Amen! I have fallen short so many times by not getting to the mountain and waiting on Him. I think it better to stay in the valley. Thank you for this beautiful verse!
Amen!!

Oh I really like that Alida....feast for mind, spirit and eyes.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely staircase to illustrate the scripture!
ReplyDeleteI'm good at the climbing (or trying to climb). Worse (much worse) at the waiting. How do you know when to stop climbing and start waiting?
