Have you seen this chart on Pinterest?
I am fascinated by the comparisons. But, each time I look at it I end up wanting to eat something sweet. Sugar has always been my weakness...and my goodness that Cinnabon Cinnamon roll looks good. But, it is more likely that I will eat watermelon or some pineapple because there are no Cinnabon stores in Belize!
Is there anything on this chart that surprised you?

This is a great chart! I about fell over when I saw the sorbet..wow. Generally we assume it a better choice than other desserts, but maybe not.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared.
Wow.
ReplyDeleteFondly,
Glenda
the cereal surprised me...I thought there was more sugar in it!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Alida! I followed your comment on my blog (transatlantic sketches) here. What a cool graphic! I gave up sugar for Lent, so this has definitely been on my mind. No dessert, no cereal, no flavored yogurts, etc. All fruit and vegetables are allowed, obviously, and I'm still eating bread that other people have made. It was so tough for the first two weeks but now I've totally adjusted! Kind of crazy.
ReplyDeleteoh wow...so scary because that's a lot of sugar on a daily basis...
ReplyDeleteYou just had to show me this? LOL OMG, that is a lot of sugar!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for that. I plan to start a new diet in April and this actually helps me a lot. Kisses.
ReplyDeleteThank you for such a wonderful graphic. I was definitely surprised by how much sugar is in whole fruit compared to its sliced companion. I wonder what makes the difference between whole fruit and sliced fruit? Nonetheless, this is an excellent chart.
